Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Joyce, 61, died on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Forsyth Medical Center.
Mr. Joyce was born on July 7, 1963 in Rockingham County. Ronnie was a dedicated and hardworking individual, spending nearly thirty-six years with Halstead and Wieland Copper. He was a sports enthusiast and he also had a deep passion for walking, often covering several miles a day. His legacy or hard work and enthusiasm for life will be remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Leroy Joyce and Carol Trujillo.
Survivors include children, Jessica Joyce, Kimberly Anderson (Josh), Joseph Purdy, Christopher Purdy (Brittanie) and Morgan Purdy; grandchildren, Tevin Price, Brayden Joyce, Declan Purdy and soon-to-be Baby Boy Purdy; siblings, Sheila Joyce, Timmy Joyce (Tonya), Shay Purgason (Andy) and Darrin Joyce (Tessa); special nieces, Shana Allen and Tabriel Joyce; nephew, Troy Joyce and loved one, Laura Purdy.
