Obituary: RONALD RAY COLLINS

Ronald Ray Collins, 61, departed this earthly life on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Gibson House, Ancora Compassionate Care. Ronald was born on August 8, 1963 to Frank Hunter Collins and Nancy Farmer Collins and was a native of Rockingham County.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Papa Franks Family Cemetery, 892 Mineral Springs Road, Madison. The family will receive friends following the graveside service and all other times at the home of Charles and Rachel Collins.

Ronald was an amazing father, loving son and brother. His greatest joy was being with family at all family gatherings.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Frank Hunter Collins and his son, Justin Collins.

Ronald leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Nancy Farmer Collins; brothers, Darrell Collins (Pam) and Charles Collins (Rachel); uncles, aunts and other family members include, Ricky Farmer (Brenda), Darlene Black (Jesse), Jamie Whitten (Faye), Nellie Nelson and Sammy Farmer; cousins, Sheila Tysinger (Jimmy), Danielle Collins, D.J. Collins, Sheena Cash (James), Janice Cope (Tony), Patsy East and many other extended family and friends.

Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
