Ronald Lee Epperley, a beloved husband, son, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024, at his home in Reidsville, North Carolina, at the age of 63. Born on March 18, 1961, in Guilford County, Ronald graduated from Northwest Guilford High School in Greensboro, where he laid the foundation for a life dedicated to family, friends, and community.
For over 30 years, Ronald excelled in his career as a Transportation Engineer, as he called it, ultimately serving with distinction at Pat Salmon & Sons until his medical retirement. His expertise and dedication to his work left a lasting impression on colleagues and peers alike.
Ronald was a man of many passions. Above all, he cherished his family deeply. He is survived by his parents, Kenneth Lee Epperley and Shelvie Jean Long Epperley; devoted wife, Wendy Cobb Tickle Epperley; his children, Thomas Epperley(Nicole) and Kimberley Epperley(John); bonus daughters, Kristi Hensley, and Kellie Tickle(Jonathan). His legacy will continue through his grandchildren, Ava Barnett, Lucas Epperley, Shelvie Hayden Epperley; and bonus grandson Merick Hensley, who brought endless joy to his life. Ronald also leaves behind his loving sister, Valerie Tolbert(Rick); brother, Dale Epperley(Stephanie); along with his niece, Lauren Tolbert; and nephew, Travis Epperley(Kaylee); as well as numerous extended family members.
Though he has departed from this world, Ronald’s spirit will remain alive in the hearts and memories of those he touched. He held a profound love for horses and horseback riding, finding solace and joy in their company. His many friends, scattered across wonderful places, will remember him for his kindness and the warmth he radiated.
Ronald is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jada Lynn Epperley.

As we honor and remember Ronald, let us reflect on his love for family, his unwavering commitment to his profession, and the cherished moments shared with those he held dear. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
