Robin Lana Joyce, 62, departed this earthly life and entered her heavenly abode on March 19, 2025. There to greet her at heaven’s gates were her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, along with her father Wade Hiram Joyce, her identical twin sister, Shannon Rene Joyce, her maternal grandparents, Robert & Kate Brown, and paternal grandparents, Bryant & Mamie Joyce.
Those left o cherish her memories are her mother, Phyllisteen “Teeny” Joyce, her sister Pattie Hopper and husband Charles, her Aunt Billie, her faithful companions, Buffy & Muffy, numerous cousins, and all of her Hardees family.
Robin was born October 26, 1962, and was a special needs child. She overcame many obstacles in her longer than expected life. She attended the Special Olympics in New York. She worked at the Opportunity Center in Wentworth for several years. She also enjoyed time at the Friendship Center. She was always a very loving and happy person until dementia took control of her.
For the past few years, we have been truly blessed with a wonderful support system and for that, the family would like to say thank you to the best doctor in the world, Ashley Gottschalk, to her long term caregiver Jodi Clark, to her shorter term caregivers, Audrey Wilson, Patricia Wilson, and Jill McGee, and to all the nurses and staff at Ancora Compassionate Care.
