Robin Heath Yarbrough, 58, passed away Friday morning, October 27, 2023, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, 6 – 8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel in Madison. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date and will be published here so please check back periodically. Friends and family are being received at the home of her daughter, 1257 Dillard Road in Walnut Cove, NC.
Robin was born November 7, 1964 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Curtis Lee Heath and Jacqueline Martin Heath. She was a Registered Nurse, a career she had enjoyed for 25 years. Robin, most recently, worked for Hospice of Rockingham County where she was a Team Leader. Family was very important to Robin and she enjoyed spending time with them all, especially her grandbabies.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Billy Yarbrough; two daughters, Amy McDaniel (Scottie) and Ashley Yarbrough; six grandchildren, Katelyn Wilson, Colin Pulliam, Martin Wilson, Mason McDaniel, Tanner McDaniel, Solomon Taylor, plus Baby McDaniel who is due in May; sister, Sue Sands; numerous nieces and nephews; her “special daughters”, Ashley Carter and Natalie Riggs; the “carrots to her peas”, Lana Shivley; her beloved work family and last but not least, her precious fur baby, Sammy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Asher Wayne McDaniel; brother, Martin Heath; along with her step-mother, Annie Kate Heath.
