Obituary: ROBERT WALTER “ROBIN” SHELTON

Robert “Robin” Walter Shelton, 69, left this earthly life, Friday, June 2, 2023, at home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Robin was born on May 18, 1954, in Rockingham County. He was employed with Glenn R. Shelton Logging throughout the years until he became disabled. Robin was a kind, humble man who enjoyed the simple things in life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Mason “Bunk” Shelton and Emma Jane Hill Shelton and two brothers, Johnny Shelton and Perry Shelton.
Survivors include his brothers, Kevin Shelton and Chris Shelton (Rita); sisters, Rhonda Shelton Lawson, Rebecca Shelton Watkins, Pamela Shelton Plummer, and Paula Shelton; nieces and nephews, Joy, Susan, Jason, Matt, Shea, Mandy, Danielle, and Macey; several great-nieces and nephews, and a very special friend, Tosha.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the Shelton Farm Cemetery, 138 Chris Drive, (off Anglin Mill Rd), Stoneville, N.C.
The family will receive friends at the home of Chris Shelton, 1605 Anglin Mill Road, Stoneville, N.C.
