Robert Timothy Collins, 66, passed Friday, December 15, 2023, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.
The funeral service will be held 2 pm, Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel with interment following in the Collins Family Cemetery.
Timothy was born September 2, 1957, in Stokes County to Nan Mabe Collins and the late Robert Clayburn Collins. He was retired from Hopkins Lumber. Tim was a loving, and kind-hearted father and grandfather. His passion was gardening, and he loved hunting and fishing with his grandson Silas. He enjoyed playing and laughing with his granddaughter Allison. He will be deeply missed by all that loved and knew him.
In addition to his mother Nan Mabe Collins, Timothy is survived by his wife Vickie Hopper Collins; son Brian Collins (Kathryn), daughters Kristie Heerschap (Peter) and Carrie Stalter; grandchildren Michael Heerschap, Robbie Stalter, Silas and Allison Collins; brothers Kent Collins, Keith Collins, Stanley Collins, Darryl Collins (Lisa), Harold Collins (Rhonda), Randall Collins (Pam), and Kevin Collins (Callie).
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel and other times at the residence.
Colonial Funeral Home in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
