Obituary: ROBERT EARL LOWERY

Robert Earl Lowery, 67, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at his home.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the White Road Baptist Church Cemetery, Belews Creek. The family will receive friends at his residence and at the cemetery following the committal.

Mr. Lowery was born on September 24, 1956 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Russell Weldon Lowery and Lena Mae Jones Lowery. Robert enjoyed listening to music and keeping a neat home.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Ricky Sampson and sister, Gail Wilson.

Survivors include his daughter, Kathy Watson (Chris); son, Dewayne Lowery; beloved grandson, Dakota Earl Lowery; numerous other grandchildren; brother, Roger Dale Lowery; sister, Tina Ward (Ken); special friend, Mitch Warren and many extended family members.
