Rhonda Lynn Cox Pruitt, 64 of Pelham, NC went to be with the Lord Saturday May 11, 2024 at the Gibson House (formerly Hospice of Rockingham County).
A native of Rockingham County, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Grace Burgess Cox and had lived in Caswell County most of her life. She was a former insurance agent with North Carolina Farm Bureau in Rockingham County and was a former school bus driver in Rockingham County. Rhonda was a member of Lively Stones Baptist Church, and enjoyed crafting, cooking, and was an avid billiards player. She enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and looked forward to family gatherings. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas. Rhonda was preceded in death by her brothers: Ritchie Cox and Rodney Cox.
Survivors include her husband of 13 years Danny Pruitt of the home, son: Justin Dorsett of Pelham, daughters: Kayleigh Cross (Justin) of Ruffin, Kelly Cox and Kristy Cox both of Pelham, brother: Ricky Cox (Lisa) of Blairs, VA, five grandchildren: Jaden Dorsett, Zachary Cross, Abbey Cox, Lynleigh Kelly, and Rowan Cross.
