Rhonda Knight Bullins, 67, left this earthly life Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Wesley Long Hospital.
Rhonda was born on May 22, 1955, in Rockingham County, to the late Wheeler Knight and Mary Sue Plaster Knight. She was a 1973 graduate of North Stokes High School. Rhonda was employed with Burlington Industries from 1974 to 1998 as Quality Control Manager. She continued to work at Bea Whitener’s Store after retiring from Burlington, and ended her working career in 2021 at Steve Wall Lumber Company. She attended Delta United Methodist Church where she was active in church ministries throughout the years. Rhonda worked with children in Vacation Bible School, volunteered with Meals on Wheels, and was a member of Day Lilies. Rhonda loved her family especially her grandchildren Ayden and Karlie.
In addition to her parents, Rhonda was preceded in death by a brother, Bennie Knight, sister, Pencie K. Dodson, and step-mother, Edith Mabe Knight.
Survivors include her husband of 37 yrs, Randy Odell Bullins; son, Dwayne Hutchens (Christy); two grandchildren, Ayden and Karlie Hutchens; brother, Denzil Knight (Margaret); sister, Roxie Steele and brother, Bonnie “Bugs” Knight (Linda), and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2023, at Delta United Methodist Church with interment following at the Dodson Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends all other times at the residence.
