Regina Talley Davenport, 59, passed away early Sunday morning, January 1, 2023, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, January 6th, at Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel in Madison. Burial will follow in Christ Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Stokesdale. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1 – 2 PM, at the funeral home.
Regina was born November 6, 1963 to the late Leon Edward Talley and Clara Bell Whitaker Talley. She was a homemaker and attended Christ Free Will Baptist Church in Stokesdale.
She is survived by her husband, Barney “Ray” Davenport of the home; three sons, Otis Nance of Stoneville, Alan Talley and fiancée, Chairty Green of Reidsville, and Barney Davenport, also of Reidsville; daughters, Cherie Reaves and husband, Anthony, of Stoneville and Amanda Nance of Madison; 13 grandchildren, Lonnie, Sarah, Allison, Kenzley, Kingston, Arianna, Savannah, Micah, Noelan, Arleah, Zoey, Luke and Emma; along with a sister, Mary Ann Mueller of Greensboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Allen Talley.
Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
