Raymond “Marty” Martin Rutledge, 42, of Eden passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1-2pm, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at other times at the home, 140 Pine Knot Drive, Eden.
Raymond was born March 8, 1981, in Eden, NC. He was a graduate of Morehead High School, class of 2000. Raymond worked as a forklift operator at Signode Industries in Eden. He was a member of the American Welding Society. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with Mason.
Raymond is survived by his mother, Dorinda Kay Johnson and stepfather, Ted Johnson of Eden; father, Charles Setliff, Sr.; sons, Cody Rutledge and Mason Rutledge of Eden; daughter, Makayla Lynn Rutledge of Eden; brother, John Spencer Morton (Nicky) of Stokesdale; grandfather, Bill Setliff; niece, Payton Morton; nephew, Brendon Morton; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; honorary sisters, Krystal Smith and Jennifer Hood, aunt, Rhonda Wright, grandmother, Doris Rutledge of Amherst, VA.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Charles William Setliff, Jr.
