Raymond Lee Stegall, 72, of Eden passed away early Friday morning, July 21, 2023, at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Love Thy Neighbour Baptist Church, 1602 Price Grange Road in Stoneville. The family will receive friends after the service.
Raymond was born in Eden on June 12, 1951, the son of Lois Foley Clark and the late Raymond Stegall. He was the owner of Stegall’s Wrecker Service. He was also the pastor of Love Thy Neighbour Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Sparks Stegall of the home; his children, B.J. Stegall and wife Sandra of Eden; his mother, Lois Foley Clark of Eden; his sisters, Doris Ratliff of Stoneville and Betty Walton and husband Jim of Stoneville; and his granddaughter, Nikki.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Love Thy Neighbour Baptist Church, 171 Barnes Road, Eden, NC 27288.
