Randall Franklin Craddock, 78, of Mayodan, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, at North Pointe of Mayodan.

“Randy” was born on November 15, 1946, to the late Coy and Verda Craddock. He was a Vietnam Vet that served in the Air Force and later spent his career with Sears and Roebuck and Tyco Electronics. He was a member of Mayodan First Baptist Church and was a loving stepfather, grandfather and friend to many. He loved the North Carolina Tar Heels and enjoyed watching all sporting events.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Martin; brother-in-law, Bill Martin; sister-in-law, Bobby Craddock; and a brother-in-law, Ernie Hylton.

Those left surviving are his children, Tara Lawrence (Johnny) of Pine Hall, Cory Cook of Madison, and Carmen Diaz of Charleston; his sister, Carol Hylton of Cary; brother, Jim Craddock of Clemmons; grandchildren, Nicholas Lawrence (Ashlee), Mackenzie Tuttle (Dylan), Austin Case, Daniella Diaz, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to North Pointe, AuthoraCare Hospice, and to his caregivers, Donna, Linda, Paul, and his wonderful neighbors.

An 11:00 a.m. graveside inurnment will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Matthews Chapel Cemetery in Stoneville with Rev. Randy Jessup officiating and military honors provided by the US Air Force and the Rockingham County Honor Guard.
