Obituary: RAMONA WILSON SETLIFF

Ramona Wilson Setliff, 83, of Reidsville, went to be with the Lord Sunday September 8, 2024 at Jacob’s Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Madison.

The family will hold a memorial service 11:00 A.M. Thursday September 12, 2024 at New Life Baptist Church 943 NE Market St. Reidsville, NC with Rev. Shannon Joseph and Dr. Robert Wilson officiating. The family will see friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

A native of Midland, NC, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Vivian Key Wilson and had lived in Rockingham County most of her life. She was a retired elementary school teacher having taught Kindergarten, Special Needs Children, and Title One. She started her teaching career in Locust, NC, after moving to Reidsville she taught at Franklin Street Elementary, Happy Home Elementary and at Lincoln Elementary School. Ramona was an avid reader, and looked forward to decorating for the holidays especially Christmas. She enjoyed traveling and most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by a brother : Glen Wilson and a sister: Cathy Tucker.

Survivors include husband Charlie G. “Red” Setliff, sons: Paul D. Setliff (Stacy) of Reidsville, Kane A. Setliff (Rose) of Burlington, and Gene A. Setliff (Kim) of Myrtle Beach, brother: Dr. Robert Wilson (Joyce) Clemmons, sister-in-law: Linda Wilson of Reidsville, brother and sister-in-law: Leroy and Gloria Setliff Pegram of Reidsville, grandchildren: Cole Setliff, Paige Setliff, Elana Setliff, Lucas Setliff, Gordon Setliff, Ryan Bondurant, Mason Setliff, Bailee Setliff, and Juiana Chickwanda..
