Phillip Wright Tuttle, 82, left this earthly life, Saturday, March 25, 2023, at LifeBrite Community Hospital of Stokes.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Lawsonville Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, at Lawsonville Baptist Church and other times at the residence.
Mr. Tuttle was born August 27, 1940, in Stokes County, to the late Charlie C. Tuttle and Martha Stephens Tuttle. He was a member of Lawsonville Baptist Church and a former construction worker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, James Robert Tuttle and Charlie Junior Tuttle; and sisters, Faye Tuttle, Leon Tuttle, and Patrica Tuttle.
Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Avis Mabe Tuttle; a son, Daniel Tuttle (Cindy); daughters, Tammie Brim (Wayne) and Crystal Burrow (Jonathan); sister, Betty Priddy; and grandchildren, Jesse Tuttle, Josh Hundley, Breanna Dodson, Tyler Dodson, and Nate Hooker.
