Pearl Rhodes Robinson, 95, of Reidsville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 8, 2024.
Pearl was born in Mifflin Co, Pennsylvania to the late Mack Rhodes and Eva Woodward Rhodes. She worked in various textile industries throughout her life as a seamstress. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, working in her garden and canning the fruits of her labor. She also loved babysitting and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was passionate about baking and cooking and was known for her famous 9 loaves of bread, dried apple pies and apple nut cake. She lovingly shared her creations with her family and friends. In her pastime, she loved crocheting hand-made doilies and afghans and gifting her works of art to her friends and loved ones.
In addition to her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by sons, Fred Arthur Wilson & Glenn Lester Wilson and 11 of her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by son, Simmons Larry Wilson and daughters Sandra Califf and Brenda Kay James; grandchildren, Thomas Wilson, Charlene Outland, Mike Dearing, Laurie Dickson, Angie Gwynn and Heather Walden, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O. Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
