Pauline Grogan Walker, 72, of Eden passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Gibson House Hospice Home.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Nolan Johnson officiating and Gene Turner singing “One Day at a Time”, one of Pauline’s favorite songs. The family will receive friends from 10 until 10:45 am at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home before the service.

Pauline was born in Henry County, VA on April 25, 1952 and raised in Rockingham County. The baby sister of the six Grogan girls, she was a feisty little woman, and her motto was “my way or the highway!” She was well known and people thought the world of her.

In her teenage years, she and her closest sister Fran worked at the Circle Drive-In and in their spare time, ran the country roads and back waters – always up for an adventure.

As an adult, Pauline worked at Spray Texture Yarn Factory and for the City of Eden. When able, she attended South Side Baptist Church.

With a heavy heart, we say so-long to Pauline until we see her again in Heaven.

She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Clara Grogan, and four of her sisters, Betty Jarrell, Jackie Wilson, Dorothy Southern, and Lilly Boulding.

Pauline is survived by her sister, Frances Boyles; her nephew, Vince Boulding; her niece, Dawn Boulding; her brother-in-law, Ron Silvers; several more nephews and nieces; her loving care-giver, Gabby Divini; and her close friend, Pattiann Wilson.
