Pauline Doss Vaden, 86, of Stoneville, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, at Ancora Hospice of Rockingham County.

A 2:00 p.m. funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Greene and Rev. David Price officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens in Eden. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Pauline was born in Rockingham County on January 10, 1938, to the late Dallas William and Mae Owens Doss. She was a longtime faithful member of Mayodan Church of God and retired from textiles after many years. Pauline loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed being outdoors.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Vaden, Sr.; her son, Vincent Todd Vaden; and nine brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robert “Lee” Vaden, Jr. and wife Kay of Mayodan and William “Scott” Vaden of Stoneville; her sisters, Patsy Murray of Mayodan and Sandy Tilley (Donnie) of Madison; her brother, Charles Doss of Stoneville; six grandchildren, Brian Vaden, Kelly Furstenberg, Sydnee Vaden, Ben Vaden, Trista Gordon, and Corey Vaden; and five great grandchildren.
