Paula Faye Mabe Mitchell, 68, born August 21, 1956 to William Junior Mabe and Lila Roberts Mabe. She married the love of her life, Franklin (Pinkey) Mitchell on March 23, 1973. Paula passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Paula fought a long hard battle with Parkinson ’s disease. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was loved more than words can describe; she was a strong, gentle, sweet soul.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Franklin (Pinky); son, Joseph; granddaughters Sierra (Ricky) Hill, Brittany (Kyle) Bouldin; sister, Donna (David) Vaden; and many extended family/friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving infant daughter, Jennifer Dawn Mitchell; and Parents, William Junior and Lila Mabe.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Ancora Compassionate Care for their wonderful care provided to Paula during time of need.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation or Ancora Compassionate Care of Reidsville, NC.
Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
