Obituary: PAUL EDWIN “BO” GARRETT, SR

Paul Edwin “Bo” Garrett, Sr. 77, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Wednesday September 25, 2024 unexpectantly at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday September 29, 2024 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with his nephew Brother Ricky Garrett officiating. A private burial will be in Greenview Cemetery at a later date. The family will see friends following the service at the funeral home and at other times will be at the residence.

A native of Reidsville, he was a son of the late James William and Kiness Mildred McDonald Garrett and had lived in Rockingham County. He was the owner/operator of Paul Garrett Wood Interior Trim and was the former owner operator of Bo Garrett Floor Finishing. A former member of Piedmont Baptist Church and currently watched Charles Stanley Ministries every Saturday and Sunday on television. Bo was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers: Kenneth A. Garrett, Jerry William Garrett, and Gene Leonard Garrett.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years: Sandra Bradley “Sandy” Garrett of the home, his daughters: Bethany Shannon Garrett and Lisa Marie Bradley both of Reidsville, his sons: Paul E. Garrett, Jr. (Angie) of Alabama, and James Maurice “Jim” Garrett (Robyn) of Ocean Isle, , his sister: Frances G. “Frankie” Cox of Greensboro, ten grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Memorials may be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice.
