Paul Donald “Donnie” Witty, 67, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the Gibson Hospice House.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2022, in Greenview Cemetery with Military Rites. The family will see friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
A native of Rockingham Co., he was a son of the late Paul Junior Witty and the late Doris Bowman Ware and he had lived in Reidsville most of his life. Donnie was a US Army Veteran, he enjoyed motorcycles and working on cars. He was a former cook and he attended the Salvation Army Church. Along with his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by sisters, Paulette Robertson & Teresa Stokes, a brother, Paul Calvin Witty and his step-mom, Hazel B. Witty.
Surviving are daughter, Vanessa Mobley (Junior) of Reidsville, son, Paul Witty (Kelly) of High Point, sisters, Linda Benfield of Reidsville, Jean Harris (Ronnie) of Reidsville, Kay Watson of Reidsville and Debbie Privett (Jimmy) of Reidsville, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
