Miss Patricia Ann Hooper of Reidsville, NC, found her peace and solace on February 3, 2025.
Aunt Pat was an excellent cook and baker, even though she always said, “It was not fit to eat!” Along with her culinary greatness, she loved to read romance novels, and in her early years, she enjoyed sewing. During her working years, she worked for McCory’s, Creighton, Belk, and Wal-Mart. She is the reason our generation of family knew the songs of the ’40s and ’50s and the old movies.Aunt Pat was always there for us when we needed her, and she will be greatly missed.
Aunt Pat was a devoted daughter, loving sister, and aunt. As she is reunited with her father, Al Zeiglar Hooper; her mother, Emma Hooper; her sisters, Barbara Morrison and Paulette Swearengin; and her nephew, Jerry “Chip” Morrison, she will always be remembered with love.
She is survived by her sister Yvonne Marlowe; nieces and nephews: Pamela Giles, Robert Morrison, Byron Morrison, Timothy Morrison, Emily Morrison-Paula, Gia Ward, Heather Powell, Kirstin Reid, Erika Swearengin-Regan, and Inga Russo, along with numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews and family members.
