Obituary: PATRICIA BOYTE ROLAND

Patricia Jane Boyte Roland, 79, of Eden passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Penn Nursing Center in Reidsville.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Monday, July 8, 2024 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Fair Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at other times at Patricia’s home.

Patricia was born April 9, 1945 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Eugene McPherson Boyte and Martha Jane Saunders Boyte. She was a member of Spray United Methodist Church. Patricia worked at Karastan Rug Mill for many years. Most recently, she worked in bookkeeping at Carolina Fuels. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are her sisters, Joan Pratt (Ed) of Hendersonville, Myrna Farmer of Stoneville, Debra DuBois (Gilbert) of Eden; brothers, Mike Boyte (Von) of Eden, Kevin Boyte (Sandy) of Eden; stepdaughter, Margaret Mullins of Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, David Eugene Roland; sister, Beverly Patterson; brother, Mack Boyte.

The family would like to thank the staff at Penn Nursing Center for their help and care.
