Obituary: PATRICIA ANN JOYCE GRIFFIN

Patricia Ann Joyce Griffin, 79, of Mayodan, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Ancora Compassionate Care.

A memorial service will be held at Stokesdale Baptist Church at a later date and information can be obtained from her son, Jimmy Joyce at 336-280-1311.

Patricia was born in Rockingham County to the late Raymond and Madeline Martin Joyce. She attended Stokesdale Baptist Church and was known for loving everyone. Earlier in life she enjoyed running her family business, Griffins Variety in Mayodan. She loved shopping and was a collector of baby dolls.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Griffin; her sisters, Lorena Clark and Geneva Stevens; and her brother, Billy Joyce.

Patricia is survived by her son, Jimmy Joyce of Mayodan; her ex-husband, James Joyce; her grandson, Jimmy Joyce, Jr. and wife Kimmie; nieces, Wendy Parker Peters and Paige Stevens; and nephews, Mark Stevens and Roger Joyce and wife Debbie.
