Otis Thomas Joyce, 88, met his savior peacefully Saturday morning August 31, 2024.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday September 4, 2024 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Randy Roberts officiating. Due to sickness in the community and to prevent further spreading the family request to refrain from any handshaking or hugging at the graveside.

He was survived by his wife of 69 years, Virginia Joyce; son, Greg Joyce (Sara); granddaughter, Lauren Gore (Jason); great-grandchildren, Wyatt Gore, Lena Gore; brothers, Steve Joyce (Dianne), Roger Joyce; sisters, Anise Lester, Linda Thorton (Sydney), Faye Closson (David), Martha Ore; sister-in-law, Mary Joyce.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Odel and Lena Joyce; brother, Ralph Joyce.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church and/or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Colonial Funeral Home of Madison is serving the family.
