Otis Leonard Dalton, 73, of Stoneville, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
Otis was born in Rockingham County on March 5, 1952, to the late Jesse Dalton and Florence Odell Dodson. He worked for Glass Dynamics for many years until his retirement. Otis loved his family and could always be found in his shop working on something. He was a diehard Dale Earnhardt fan and enjoyed fishing and camping.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Eual Dodson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary H. Dalton of the home; his daughter, Lisa Dalton of Martinsville; stepchildren, Melissa Lumpkins (Christopher) of Stoneville and Randy Dalton (Susan) of Bassett, VA; his sisters, Linda East (Danny) and Dawn Pulliam (Danny) both of Eden; his granddaughter, Tiffany Dalton; step grandchildren, Alyssa Winfrey, Devin Lumpkins, Tommy Lee, Christa Grubb (Cain), and Corey Dalton (Sarah); and two great grandchildren, Mason Winfrey and Rayland James Crawford.
