Norma Mae Spivey Frans was born March 07, 1950, in Canton, Ohio, to James Spivey and Edith Mae York Spivey. Norma lived the past 40 years in Reidsville, NC. Known and loved by many as the owner/operator of Nana’s Produce and Frans Flag Car.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 35 years, Jerry Frans; sisters, Joyce Bruce, Linda Gravo, and Shirley Dye.
She is survived by her son, Bobby Sanders (Camilla); daughters, Angie Linn (Erik), and Gina Sanders; grandchildren, Cameron, Hannah, Ethan Sanders, Garrett and Lucas Linn, Savannah, and Madison Crosby. Great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Milas, and Penny; brothers, Larry, and Jerry Spivey; sisters, Jean, Chappell; special niece, Dianne Mounce.
In honor of Norma’s wishes, a celebration of life PARTY will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 10 am to 3 pm. at Lake Reidsville, 630 Water Works Road, Shelter #5. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided. Please feel free to bring a covered dish or dessert. Any photos as well as memories you would like to share. Everyone is welcome.
In lieu of flowers, Norma asks for donations to be made to the Battered Women Shelter of Rockingham County. Checks should be made to, Help Incorporated PO Box 16 Wentworth, North Carolina 27375.
