

Nancy Roberts passed away at her home on Friday morning, February 7, 2025 at the age of 85.
Nancy was born February 23, 1939 in Stokes County to Roy Bluford Shelton and Bessie Bullins Shelton. Nancy owned Nancy’s Silk Flowers for many years. Nancy loved her family and was a mother to all of her grandchildren as well. Nancy was a talented musician, playing piano by ear and the guitar. She taught Sunday school at Oak Grove Baptist Church for thirty plus years. She loved being with her family, especially her husband, Bobby Alexander Roberts before his death in 2004. Nancy enjoyed crocheting with the “Happy Hookers Club”.
In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Sale; and granddaughter, Lillian Brogdon.
Nancy is survived by daughters; Wendy Martin (Jerry) and Penny Hopper (George); sister-in-law, Gail Matthews; grandchildren, Micah Collins, Matthew Collins, Nicholas Brogdon, Jessica Collins Anderson (Jake) and great-granddaughters, Peyton Anderson, Ella Anderson and Asher Anderson.
