Nancy Joyce Branch, 83, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Walnut Cove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, at Colonial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 11 a.m. prior to service.
Nancy was born on February 29, 1940 in Stokes County, to the late Jessie and Nannie Joyce. She was an avid reader, loved shopping, and never missed a chance to go bowling with friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Branch; brother, Harold Joyce; sisters, Shirley Mabe, Brenda Wall, Arleen Joyce.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian Chandler Branch; brothers, Arthur Joyce, Tom Joyce, Joe Joyce, Jessie Joyce Jr., Charles Joyce, Leonard Joyce; sisters, Mildred Dobson, Louise Howell, Thelma Belton, Catherine Jessup, Ruth Flynt, Barbra Hand.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
