On October 7 2022 Nancy Jo Perdue (Owens) 61, loving wife, mother, nana, nina, went to meet her Creator. She lost her 6 year battle with cancer fighting it till her time was called.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at 2:00 PM in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Military Rites. The family will see friends, at the funeral home, immediately following the service.
She was born in Duluth, Minnesota on October 16th 1960 to Frank and Marge Baker. She had a great childhood with 2 older sibling and 2 younger siblings. After high school she joined the Navy and became a mother of 2 remarkable sons Christopher Owens and William Owens then finally moving to NC where she worked for Ralph Lauren for 24 years. This is where she met her husband Michael Perdue added (serena) as a daughter.
Meeting a lot of great friends, new family members along the way with 10 grandchildren. She was passionate about her family and loved everyone with a big heart. True definition of Sacrifice, Honesty, Loyalty and pure Love.
She was preceded in death by her father (Frank), brothers (Steve, Scott, and Shawn(Rhonda), grandchild Christopher. Nancy is survived by husband Michael, sons (Chris and William) and a family full of grandchildren that vary from middle school to college. Also surviving is Marge ( mother) Niki Appel & Elizabeth Sawyer (Dave) (sisters). She also loved all her cousins, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed all the special moments that she had a chance to share. She supported the cancer society and made donations as well.
