Michael Todd Holcomb, 59, left this earthly life, Thursday, September 15, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, September 19, 2022, at True Gospel Baptist Church, Stuart, VA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel.
Todd was born August 1, 1963, in Rockingham County to Roy Clifton Holcomb and the late Barbara Sisk Holcomb. He was owner and operator of Smith Mountain Dock and Lodge at Smith Mountain Lake, VA. He attended True Gospel Baptist Church.
He loved the outdoors. Todd was a man who loved his family and friends. There were countless hours spent enjoying afternoons and evenings surrounded by those he loved. He never met a stranger and loved to entertain. Todd’s love of fishing, music, and cooking only helped to spread fun and laughter to every person he met. To know him was to love him.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Lynn Holcomb; son, Jesse Hayden, Jr.; daughters, Katina Burch (Ron) and Ashley King; father and step-mother, Roy Clifton and Shirley Holcomb; brothers, Steve Holcomb (Ronda) and Steve Rodgers (Cathy); sisters, Sharon Rodgers, Stephanie Rodgers; 13 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
