Obituary: MICHAEL DWIGHT BRADFORD

Michael Dwight Bradford, 27, died on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Gibson House Hospice.

A celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Colonial Funeral Home in Madison. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Michael was born on April 11, 1997 in Rockingham County. He cherished his family deeply and found immense joy in spending time with his family. Michael was always happy and will leave behind a legacy of joy and love.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sylvia and Ralph Bradford; great-grandparents, Bobby and Dessie Hicks; step-dad, Michael “Tootsie” Dalton; great-aunt, Pam Smith and cousins, Michael, Angie and Matthew Smith.

Survivors include his mother, Lori Dalton; father and step-mother, Dwight Bradford and Stacey Bradford; grandparents, Rhonda and Tony Smith; step-father, Steven Todd Tuttle; brothers, Anthony Bradford (Molly Messer) and Brandon Bailey (Elizabeth); sisters, Patience Bailey (Daren Williams), Emily Bradford and Hannah Bradford; aunts and uncles, Jason Smith, Christopher Smith and Wendy Hicks and a host of nieces, nephews, great-aunts, great-uncles and extended family.
