Michael Darren Broadnax departed this life on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
As a native and lifelong resident of Rockingham County, North Carolina, he was a former employee of the Golden Corral and was a member of Locust Hill Apostolic Church. During his leisure, he enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing and spending time with family (especially his nieces and nephews).
His parents, Wilma Lea Broadnax and Thomas Broadnax, Sr.; siblings, Dorothy Broadnax, Thomas Leon Broadnax, Jr., Harold Forrest Broadnax and Mary Jane Broadnax Sanders, preceded him in death.
Survivors are: wife, Melissa Wilson Broadnax; children, Darrin Wilson, Denise Broadnax (Angela) and Matthew Broadnax; grandchildren, Darrin, Jr., Kavion and Maior; sisters, Jessie Malloy, Betty Jean Broadnax, Lorene Mc Laughlin (Larry), Wanda Jean Clapp (Rodney) and Norma Jean Broadnax; brothers, Esau Broadnax (Bernice), Jimmy Broadnax (Edith), Donnell Broadnax (Leslie), David Lee Broadnax, Barry Broadnax (Sherry), James Thomas Broadnax and Roger Broadnax; brother-in-law, Levan Sanders; special friends, Sally Graves, Sandy Graves and Loyal; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2023 from the chapel of Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street, Reidsville with Pastor Donnie Johnson presiding. His remains are in the care of Johnson & Sons.
