Ms. Michael Danielle Neal, age 37, transitioned to her new beautiful body on Monday morning, January 15, 2024.
She was a native of Danville, Virginia and a resident of Reidsville for the majority of her life. Attending the local public schools, she was a graduate of Reidsville High School, Class of 2004 and was a former employee of Corning Glass. Spiritually, she was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church. Michael was not only a unique person, she was also artistic, humorous and adventurous. She loved the sound of the ocean and music.
Her mother, Melissa Canty and grandfather, Semmie Neal, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Lyric Neal; father, Glenn Neal (Donna); brothers, Devonta Neal (Sade) and Warren Roach; sister, Kaniqua Blackstock; loving grandmothers, Marian Neal and Sally Canty; a host of aunts, uncles; special cousins, Rachelle Neal and Faye Murray; other relatives and friends.
Michael had a strong love for her nieces and nephews and loved being around family.
Special appreciation is extended to Eric Marshall, a special friend for being by her side through it all, Dr. Courage Emokpae, Dr. Shaw, Dr. Madera and the staff of Annie Penn Hospital Cancer Center, Dr. Dorsy, Wesley Long Hospital staff and Authoracare Hospice.
Protective masks and social distancing are mandatory requirements at the church.
Public viewing will be Friday afternoon at Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street.
