Melvin Wade “Hotrod” Taylor, III, 48, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 22, 2023, at his home.
A private family Graveside service will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Gibson Family Cemetery.
”Hotrod” will lie in repose at the funeral home on Monday, March 27, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon for anyone wishing to stop by and pay their respects.
“Hotrod” was born on March 22, 1975, in Dade City, Florida to Melvin Wade, Jr. and Ruby Marie Dalton Taylor. He was a self-employed mechanic and could work on most anything. He was an avid fisherman and hunter but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his loving children, Brooke Taylor, Melvin Wade Taylor, IV and Christopher Alan Taylor; his long-time companion Jeannette Glidewell; father, Melvin Wade Taylor, Jr.; one granddaughter, Brooklyn Taylor; two sisters, Melissa Harris and Mamie Taylor; two nieces, Kaylah Harris and Myah Taylor; special aunts Maria Lawson and Annie Harris; uncle, Fred Lawson and numerous friends.
