Obituary: MARYANN KRAUSE

In loving memory of Maryann Krause, 90, who passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, September 16, 2022. She was born on May 1, 1932 in Catskill, NY, the daughter of Harry and Grace Winnie. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Manfred Krause, sister Rose Lawrence and brother Earl Winnie.
Maryann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She loved to read, meet new people, spend time with friends and family, and help those in need. Maryann worked at Ferroxcube in New York for 20+ years. She also opened a store called Help for the Homeless in Eden with her late husband and she ran her own business named Mom’s Daycare out of her home in Greensboro.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Daniel Finger, David Finger and Michael Iannone; her daughter-in-law, Maddie Finger; her stepsons, Thomas, Duane and Karl Krause; and her grandchildren, Mary Finger, Michael Phillips and Cassandra Phillips.
The funeral will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
