Obituary: MARY ALICE JORDAN

Ms. Mary Alice Jordan, age 94, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point, NC.

Public viewing will begin on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 12 until 6 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. from the Jackson United Methodist Church, 7818 Jackson School Road, Browns Summit, NC. The family visitation will take place at 10:30 a.m. Pastor, Elder Phyllis Coates will preside and Reverend Paul Milton, eulogist.

The committal and interment will follow in the Jackson UMC Cemetery, Browns Summit, NC.

Ms. Jordan was born in Guilford County, NC on November 4, 1930 to the late Willie Jordan and the late Nora Wright Jordan.

She was a faithful member of Jackson United Methodist Church.

For many years she worked as a custodian with Guilford County Schools.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Clamensia Harden and Norma Jordan; brothers, John Jordan, Leroy Jordan and James Jordan; sisters, Inez Wilson (Curtis) and Rosa Foust (Joe).

Survivors include grandchildren, Tonya Harden, Jonathan Harden, Kevin Moore (Cindee) and Christy Moore Jackson (Tyrone); great-grandchildren, Christopher Green, Tyrone Jackson, Jr., Diamond Jackson, Tyree Jackson and Theisyn Blake Harden; great-great grandchildren, Lenox Jackson and Legend Jackson; a host of relatives and friends.
