Obituary: MARSHA LEE MORTON McDANIEL

Marsha Lee Morton McDaniel, 77, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024, at her home.

A 3:00 p.m. funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Summerfield First Baptist Church with Dr. Kelly Bullard and Rev. Derrick Moody officiating. Burial will follow at Bethesda Methodist Church. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the church foyer.

Marsha was born on December 5, 1946, in Rockingham County, to the late Raymond and Juanita Morton. She was a member of Summerfield First Baptist Church and was largely involved with Operation Christmas Child and the church WMU. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her sister, Brenda Whitman of High Point; her two sons, Brent McDaniel of Stokesdale and Kent McDaniel (Liz) of Greensboro; and two grandchildren, Pierce and Erin McDaniel whom she loved dearly. Marsha is now with her Lord.
