Marguerite Greenwood Harmon Weeks, 92, of Eden passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the home of her daughter in Danville.
Marguerite was born in Martinsville, Virginia on August 9, 1932, a daughter of Evangelist James Wesley Greenwood and Minnie Byrd Greenwood, both deceased. She retired from E.I. DuPont Co after over 33 years of service. She was baptized at Stone Memorial Church and loved her Lord with all her heart.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Shirley Robert Harmon; her son, Thomas “Tommy” Harmon; her brothers, James Souther, David Souther, and Troy Souther; and her twin grandchildren, Shane and Sarah Harmon.
Marguerite is survived by her daughter, Martha Weeks of Danville; her daughter-in-law, Sheila Harmon of Eden; her grandchildren, Zachary Jones of Cashiers, NC, Chad Harmon (Logan) of Eden, Shannon Land (Jon) of Eden, Heather Alcorn (Keith) of Eden, April Butler (Lee) of Cary; and her great grandchildren, Owen Land, Cooper Butler, Morgan Butler and Erika Petty (Josh).
