Margaret Marler Hiatt, 79, departed this earthly life on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Annie Penn Hospital, Reidsville, N.C.
She was a native of East Bend, NC. Margaret worked at Stoneville Furniture and Dollar General in Stoneville before she retired. She enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and “Ice Road Truckers”, and was an avid reader. Margaret attended Christian View Christian Church in the past.
In addition to her parents, John Charles “Charlie” Hiatt and Lillian Esther Weatherman Hiatt, Margaret was preceded in death by husband, Charlie Wesley Hiatt.
Survivors include her sons Charles Robert “Bobby” Hiatt (Deborah) and Christopher Martin “Chris” Hiatt; sister Ruby Jester; brother Paul Marler; grandchildren Laura Hiatt Smith, Stephanie Hiatt Saeger, Sydney Hiatt, Connor Hiatt, Aidan Hiatt, and Kaylee Hiatt. She also had several great-grandchildren.
Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
