Margaret Stephens Ingram, 72, of Boone, NC went to be with the Lord Wednesday June 14, 2023.
A memorial service will be conducted in the coming months.
A native of Reidsville, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen Doss Stephens and has lived in Watauga County for the past 20 years where she worked as an accountant for various businesses. She enjoyed cooking and traveling and was an avid reader especially liking science fiction. Margaret enjoyed taking care of a lifetime of cats and dogs and feeding the wildlife around her home. She loved people and was always willing to help out those in need. She was preceded in death by her husband: Kelley Ingram, her mother: Helen Doss Grogan, her father: Charles Stephens, her step-father: Benjamin “Doc” Grogan, her sister: Patricia Earles, her brothers: Paul Stephens and Charlie Stephens, Jr. and her uncles: James Doss, William Doss, Doug Doss and Charles Doss.
Survivors include: her sister: Ann Grogan of Reidsville, her sisters-in-law: Keri Como and Sue Rushind both of Tennessee and Becky Morris of Texas, her aunts: Brenda Wingfield, and Barbara Knight both of Reidsville, a niece and a nephew and numerous cousins.
