Margaret Hickman Harris, 80, passed away at Ancora Compassionate Care on Sunday, February 23, 2025.
Margaret was born on April 16, 1945 to the late Claude and Ethel Hickman. Margaret was a lifelong member of Victor Hill Church, where she loved to spend her time. She was always working at the church and tending to her garden. Margaret had a deep love for her dogs, Jack and Princess. She will be greatly missed by her church community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Harris; brother, Robert Hickman; niece, Lisa Harris; and numerous extended family members.
She is survived by brother, Silvester Hickman(Opal); sister-in-law, Tina Hickman; nieces, Jessica Harden (Todd), Dawn H. Shaffer and Susan Harris; nephews, Danny Harris, Jerry Harris, Jeff Harris, Frankie Harris, David Harris; great niece, Brooke Dalton; great nephew, Tyler Bowman (Brittney); numerous extended family members.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Victor Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church and/or Ancora Compassionate Care.
Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
