Lori Lynn Combs Skoglund, 57, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 3rd, at Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel with burial to follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 – 2 PM) in the chapel and other times at her home.
Lori was born April 12, 1966 in Norfolk, VA to Larry Robinson Combs and Jean Tedder Combs. She worked as a Pharmacy Technician for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Mike Skoglund of the home; son David Joseph Stone of Durham; two daughters, Taran Renee Combs (Andrew Dreyer) of Eden; Lydia Mae Skoglund of the home; two grandchildren, Johnathan Allen Pegram and Kaelynn Loftis; her parents, Larry and Jean Combs; brothers, Steve Combs of Cary and Brian Combs of San Francisco, CA and her sister, Melody Combs of Clemmons.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel in Madison is serving the family.
