Obituary: LINDA ROBERTSON SMITH

Linda Robertson Smith, 68, of Reidsville, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Annie Penn Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 22, 2023 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church on Ashley Loop in Reidsville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Linda was the daughter of the late Lewis Edward Robertson and Lucille Turman Robertson. She was a graduate of Wentworth High School and received her Associate’s Degree from Rockingham Community College. She retired from the State of North Carolina as a Deputy Clerk of Court with the Wentworth Courthouse. Linda was a huge animal lover and especially adored cats.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, David Smith; son, Doug Smith and wife, Margaret; feline companions, Bob, Bandit and Smash and adopted animal companions, Briscoe and Soy.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rockingham County Animal Shelter, 250 Cherokee Camp Road, Reidsville, NC 27320.
