Obituary: LINDA FOULKS HAZELWOOD

Linda Foulks Hazelwood, 77, left this earthly life on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at her home.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Kallam Grove Christian Church, 1390 Gold Hill Road, Madison. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church and all other times at the home..

Mrs. Hazelwood was born on May 23, 1945 in Rockingham County to the late William Walton Foulks and Madie McGehee Foulks. She was a 1963 graduate of Bethany High School and retired as a Child Nutrition Manager from Huntsville Elementary. Linda attended Gospel Baptist Church. She was a talented cook, baker and seamstress and will be remembered for her green thumb that nurtured her flower garden. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren play sports.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband whom she married on her eighteenth birthday, Danny Allen Hazelwood and her sisters, Elizabeth Isley, Jean Puckett and Frances Taylor.

Survivors include her children, Greg Hazelwood (Joanna), Abby Woods (Ricky) and Ryan Hazelwood (Kristy); grandchildren, Kyle Woods (Cheyenne), Kyndall Brim (Dustin), Noah Hazelwood (Katie), Kali Hazelwood, Hannah Hazelwood (Dakota Carter), Kobe Hazelwood and Kase Hazelwood; great-grandchildren, Micah Woods, Bella Coates, Jaxon Woods, Titus Woods, Willow Woods and Colt Brim and numerous extended family members.
