Obituary: LINDA FAYE AMOS ADKINS

Linda Faye Amos Adkins passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 19, 2024, following a series of strokes, gradual declining health and a broken heart.

Linda was born October 7, 1946 to John Odell Amos and Ruby Lee Kendrick Amos. She was preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life John Eddie, only 10 months prior, and her granddaughter Schuyler Roberson.

She leaves behind two daughters, Tamatha Adkins-Ford (Tommy) and Tiffany Bullins (Doug). Grandchildren are Teagan Brawley (Landon), Colby Wrenn (Ugochi), Kristen Switzer (Shane), Haley Stephenson (Evans) and Cole Bullins (Ashley). Great-grandchildren are Eddie and Honey Boggs, John Maverick Brawley, Baby Brawley due in December, Chloe and Piper Switzer and Caleigh Bullins.

Linda was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church for over 50 years. She loved God and being John’s wife more than anything in the world. She loved her family; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were pure joy in her life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00AM at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or Friends of Stokes Shelter, 1111 Dodgetown Road, Walnut Cove, NC 27052.
