Obituary: LINDA COLLINS MOORE

Linda Faye Collins Moore, 78, our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, departed this earthly life, Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at home.

She was born July 24, 1945, in Henry County, Virginia, to the late Noey Edward Collins and Rela Selena Holt Collins. Linda received a GED Diploma from Cornerstone Christian School. She was a faithful member of the Lawsonville Church of God, and was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord. She loved gardening, enjoyed working in her flowers, and crafts. Linda was retired from Stokes Public Schools and was a caregiver to many people.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Clay Moore.

Survivors include her daughters Janice Moore (Greg), Teresa Stegall, and Lisa Hall (Gary); stepson, Donovan Moore (Lessa); beloved grandchildren, Ashley Hughes, Kimberly Stegall, Camber Horton, Pamela Stegall, Corey Moore, Phillip Stegall, and Addison Moore; loving great-granddaughter, Nick, Noah, Jayden, Tanner, Levi, Dillon, Ava, and Chase; and a sister, Earline Mabe (Clifton).

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel and other times at the residence. A private graveside service for the immediate family will follow at 2 p.m. at Patrick Memorial Gardens, Stuart, VA.
