Obituary: LINDA CLARK WILLIAMS

Linda Clark Williams, born November 19, 1950, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at LifeBrite Community Hospital of Stokes.

She was born in Okaloosa County, Florida. Linda was a US Army veteran. She served as an Army Reserve nurse and was employed in various positions throughout her working career. While living in Stokes County, N.C., she was past director of the Stokes County Nutrition (Meals on Wheels). She had attended Oak Ridge Baptist Church, and after moving, faithfully attended Lawsonville Baptist Church and Dan River Baptist Church. Linda was a loving mother who loved the Lord. She was an avid reader. Her favorite quote was “the Lord is my Savior.”

She was preceded in death by her parents Jerry Willard Clark and Pearl Ledbetter Clark; son Daryl James Williams, Jr., and a brother Ted Willard Clark (Jamie).

Linda is survived by her brother Richard Allen Clark (Angela), of Kernersville; sister Betty Lou Williams, of Sandy Ridge, and a special friend Ronald Wilson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Colonial Funeral Stokes Chapel.
