Leslie Dean Greer, 67, died Friday, September 15, 1023, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Leslie was born on July 24, 1956, in Forsyth County, to the late Conley Coolidge Greer and Helen Marie Greer. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a self-employed diesel mechanic.
In addition to his parents, Leslie was preceded in death by wife Karen Greer, brother Bernie Greer, and a granddaughter Allison Greer.
Survivors include: sons, Matthew Greer (Samantha) and John Greer (Ashley); daughters Angelia Kuhlman, Sarah Greer, and Mary Beth Lawson (Dustin); grandchildren Molly Greer, Natallie Steele, Will Greer, Gabbi Greer, Brookllyn Greer, Kylie Lawson, Ellorie Lawson, Shiloh Greer, Conley Greer, Finley Greer, Montanna Swearingen, and Codi Kuhlman; brother Michael Greer (Kim); sister Teresa Kirby; special niece and nephew Maegan Kirby and Michael Watson; and special friends Craig Campbell and Jason Guthrie.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2023, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel. A Family interment will follow on Tuesday at the Greer Family Cemetery.
